One of the famous orissa temples, it enshrines Lord Somnath as the presiding deity. The temple has a Mukhasala, Vimana, Brisava Mandapam, Chandan Mandapam and Homa Mandapam. Inside the compound of the temple of south faced Hanuman and Bhariraba facing to the west are found. Bhairaba facing to the west are found. Bhairaba is worshipped here by the Saivities before the worship of Siva. In this temple Goddess Parvati in the north.
