Orissa World TourismWith a total of 58136 sq.km that makes nearly 37 % of its entire landmass under forest, Orissa showcases such diverse flaura and fauna that makes it one of the prime place in the eco tourism map of the country. This very diversity in the topography of the region has allowed distinct ecosystems to adapt and evolve in Orissa. The entire landscape of the state is dotted with national parks and wild life sanctuaries that host around 473 species of birds and 86 species of mammals, 19 species of amphibians and 110 species of reptiles including three crocodilian species.
