The Baliharchandi temple dedicated to Goddess Harachandi at 27 km south west of Puri on the road towards Brahmagiri and Satapada. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga and is mounted on a sandy hill near the ocean. Goddess Durga is worshipped here as Baliharachandi.
